Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her acting career by playing supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt she played Willa McPherson in the role of a reporter. She also appeared in the role of a support character on the short-lived show The Ex List. She played the role of a young Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and played Kaylee in the season's third. She was Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead and Sophie on the NBC series This Is Us. She is also the voice of many characters in the comedy show Family Guy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge resided in Darien, Connecticut, until the age of 10, when she and her mother relocated to California. They went through a few different places before they settled in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she began to take an interest in acting, photography and singing. She relocated to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue her acting career.
