Amanda Elizabeth Righetti (born Amanda Elizabeth Righetti) is an American actor and producer. Her fame was forged when she played Grace Van Pelt the special agent on CBS's drama police procedural series The Mentalist. Righetti is an Utah resident, had always longed to be a performer. At the age of four, young, she began to dance. Love and Happiness marked her large-screen debut in 1995. Her first role on TV was on CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Guest Star. Righetti launched her modelling career at the age of 14. Righetti started her career modeling at age 14. After a few years she relocating into Los Angeles where she continued playing small, but important roles until she was cast in Foxs teenage drama The O.C.. Righetti had also played important roles in 2009's horror movie Friday the thirteenth and Captain America: The first Avenger. She has appeared in Foxs soap opera North Shore. In The Mentalist she played Grace Van Pelt between the years 2008 to 2015 and received high praise for her character.
