Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She currently competes within the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina is her younger sister, and also a UFC competitors. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following her departure from the competition. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina's formidable strike abilities enabled her to TKO Nievera via knees in the back of her. After this win, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko was able to make her UFC debut at TUF Heavy Hitters Finale against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko lost to Roxanne Modafferi via split decision following her debut fight. Antonina bounced right back after losing and defeated Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. The fight was awarded Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her three subsequent matches which included a win against Ariane Lipski, while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee.
