Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on the 5th of February, 1964. Linney is an American actor best known for her talent in portraying powerful characters that are fragile. Linney was born into an actor's family, since her father Romulus Linney plays a writer. She graduated from Brown University in 1986 and afterward attended the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City. The actress began performing in Broadway in the very first week, and soon received praise for her performances as a part of Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
